I just want to dye a few strands of my hair a really funky color.

Like blue or purple.

Hair FX for crazy colors. Otherwise I would say Herbal Essence, they make a temporary brand that washes out in 24 washes. It's nice for a change.

there's a small brand called PowerPlus. I don't know if it's just in my area they are sold or not. but bright purple worked well with my hair.
