ok i went researching and this dye site said these are the colors i can get with out bleaching my hair,for black.brown hair

ive tried to dye my hair plum purple before without lightening my dark hair and all i had was this plum hue in my hair that you could barely see unless you were in the sun. But i used a crappy semi-permanent dye, but i think you should try it and leave it in longer(i also dont think i left mine in long enough)

your hair is too dark to take any color, even brown. you have to bleach it. or get those spray on hair colors

No, you have to bleach it to get the colors to show up, and be true to the color on the package. Manic Panic's website even says you need to bleach your hair to get the results on the box. http://www.manicpanic.com
