Bleach all the color out first with peroxide, then just use unsweetened Kool-Aid, mixed into a paste with about a tablespoon of conditioner. The color will eventually wash out, but the bleach won't - to get it back to your normal color, you'd have to overdye it.

You can also try Manic Panic brand gels and dyes. They run around $5-$10 depending on the size and type you get, and you don't have to bleach first (although lighter hair will show more color than dark) but be warned: once they dry in your hair, they hurt like h*ll to brush through/get out. And they stain EVERYTHING, so be careful with application. You can find them in the walk-in hair salons like Fantastic Sam's, Dollar Cuts, and so on, and also in beauty supply places like Robin Todd or Sally.

Personally, I like pink, purple, and blue, in that order....

Hope this helps.

Manic Panic, sorry I don't have a link but it's temporary, 10 washes or so and it can be found at most drug stores =]

Comes in colours like

Bubblegum pink

midnight blue

neon green

It's actually kind of neat

Best of luck =]
