I have short hair and want blue tips in my hair. How do i do this without a cap?

I just want highlights of blue.. Ill be using my manic panic but i dont have the time/money to go buy a cap...

In the salon, we just paint on the pieces where we want to see the color. I would recommend apply a firm hold styling product to help separate chunks of hair and paint them in. Good luck.

Like the first poster said....I'd style my hair stiff...then I'd probably use my fingers to place the hair color where I wanted it (use gloves) just tip the ends of your hair......but if your hair is long...you'd better be careful...
