Since I got my hair cut into a supershort pixie, it seems that I get a lot fewer catcalls but a lot more nice guys come up to me out of the blue and strike up conversations. I love my hair and it looks much better on me than long hair did. Is it because I stand out more or do guys take short haired girls more seriously

p.s. I had a friend (guy) and another friend (girl) and the guy likes the girl, and I said "well i dont like her with short hair, she looked better with long hair" and guess what he did? HE TOLD HER! So guys, theres a guy code. Dont you know that? You dont ever break the guy code. If a guy tells you something about a girl and your both guys, you never, under any circumstance, tell the girl what the other guy said. Dont try to win points with the girl because then it will just hurt her feelings in the long run and she obviously doesnt deserve you after that anyways.

There is a little bit about short hair that conveys more responsibility and maturity, rather than the wildness and carefree attitude that long hair conveys- but I'm not sure if it would have that blatant of an effect on guys, lol. Personally, I don't think hair would matter too much in how I would respect a woman, but certain hair styles do convey different meanings, like I said.

The nicer guys are just the more shy guys who are now less intimidated by your no longer attractive hair and now think of you as another guy to talk to. Some of them might even think you are a lesbian and have no intimidation at all. This is just my opinion so no need to flame out over it.

Maybe because you know it looks better you walk around with more confidence, and that is why nicer guys are coming up to you. Enjoy it! My hair is cut just as short (like the little avatar thingy)...it has been this way for about two years and I still get compliments on it.

accutaly i got my hair cut and guys have given me more attention and more respect and i'm like a guy with my friends like i am a very tomboyish girl and all my guy friend use to tacal me and now they just tickle me or lightly puch me on the arm it pissed me off so i told them to stop and they did but one of them he treats me like a girl friend I HATE IT
