There is a blue bleach and white bleach both to be mixed with peroxide. i had dark brown hair and died it with the blue one a week ago. Its gone alot lighter but now its gingery. Now i want to get to blonde. Which one is better and whats the difference?
What colour hair powder bleach should i use?
hi i'm a hairdresser...
blue bleach - for normal highlighting
white bleach - has an extra lil oomph to it to make hair lighter...when using either u need to make sure u use the correct peroxide...i.e. 6% wont b strong enough, 9% shud b ok, 12% will b too strong for your hair colour.
by the sounds of it u need colour correction - this is where ur hair bleached to strip the colour, ash toner applied to counteract the gingerness.
this process needs to be done @ a salon to ensure minimal damage to ur hair and it requires the exp and know how to do this process properly.
now depending on how ginger ur hair is - this depends on if they wud need to bleach it again or if they wud need to just add an ash toner to the hair.
if ur hair is only slightly gingerish, try using a shampoo called Matrix So Silver Shampoo - this adds ash tones bk into the hair to neutrilise orangeness and enhances blonde/grey hair.

If i were you i'd leave it to the professionals else you might end up with either green hair or extremely damaged.

I think you should leave it as dark brown. Once you start dyeing your hair the roots will grow out and you have to keep buying bleach. Dyeing hair is a waste of time.

Chemicals? Made in a chemical factory? Toxic!
Why not just be the beautiful person that you are?
Donate the money you would have spent to something worthwhile as no look is as good as being healthy and will adding chemicals to your skin be a risk worth it?
