Personally I use brown, I have used black before but usually blonde haired blue eyed people have fairer skin and black can sometimes look a bit harsh. Dark brown looks great I think because it's dark enough to add definition to the eyes but it isn't over domineering. Charcoal grey can also look nice aswell as it's a little softer than dark brown but gives the eyes a bit of colour.
