Should I bleach my hair if I'm dying it an unnatural color?

My hair right now is a light brown with a lot of blond highlights. I'm thinking about dying it a purple or a blue, do you think it'll take to my hair just fine?

Also, if I'm not going to dye it an unnatural hair color, if anyone as watched South Of Nowhere on The-N, I want to dye it Ashley's hair color with the blond in the bangs and everything, do you think my hair will take to the dye?

i love that show haha. but ya it will but you have to buy salon proffessionals bleaching agents or go to the salon. and if i were you id go with the ashley look. it's hott.

and whatever you do... DO NOT USE peroxide you buy in a bottle for cuts.... it will killlll your hair. im not kidding. its up to you though. but ya and dont buy boxed bleaches from a cvs or walmart because your hair will only turn out a brassy color. good luck.
